About Me

Eagle_tristanMy name is Tristan and I`m in grade 7 . At school, I enjoy afternoon recess the most because It’s long and I like the playground and I get to run around, eat my snack, and there’s no work to do.

I’m in Ms. Smith‘s class this year again and I am very happy because Ms Smith was really fun last year. Ms. Smith does a lot with computers and I think I’ll have a very fun/good year again. I’m really looking forward to it. She also runs the robotics club which I’m doing again.

I love playing electronic games and watching TV like Wizards of Waverly Place. When I’m not watching TV I like to play my DS because it’s a portable gaming device and I can take it anywhere. I play the DS so much that if it was alive it would probably run away from me yelling “Don’t play me!” because it would want to have a break. My favourite games are Dragon quest and Transformers. Actually, my favourite gaming system of all is the Wii and I love to play it but I can’t take it camping and my mom only lets me play it for a certain amount of time. I enjoy playing lego starwars III and lego batman 2 for playstation 3 I also have Little Big Planet 1 and 2, I have lots of demos my favourite is fancy pants adventures.

I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia in Canada. There are so many wild animals here like pheasants, robins, cougars, deer, black bears, rabbits and bald eagles. I have seen all of these either in my neighbourhood or in the many forests outside of town. At some of our beaches you can see as many as 10 bald eagles diving down to get fish all in the same place! I’m serious. Don’t think I’m kidding. There really are tonnes of bald eagles where I live.  Lots of them have a white head but some don’t because bald eagles don’t get one until they are 5 years old.

It’s awesome in the winter here because we can go skiing without it getting too cold. It’s rare to have a day colder than -10 and we don’t get much snow. Lucky for us, the closest ski mountain gets tonnes. In the summer here you can go swimming in the ocean, lakes, and rivers. It’s really sunny, but not too hot. Tourists from all over the world travel to Vancouver Island because it’s so beautiful and nice.

    Tristan,
Congratulations on joining the September student blogging challenge. Have a go at as many activities as you can.

I really loved the couple of days I spent on Vancouver Island when I visited about 20 years ago. I might even get there again next year in September / October when I take my long service leave from school teaching.

    Hi Tristan.

Yes, it is very beautiful here. Lots of those animals, but I still have not seen a bear up close.
What’s the closest you have got to seeing a bear or a cougar? Have you seen one yet?

    Sincerely, Summer.

    Hello again Tristan boy.
You do know you I am, right? If not, you should. Anyway, I am Chelsey, not the flying horse. I had to do that.
You should come over again sometime and help me with finishing my maze in Minecraft. You will be the test.
    See ya later.
