Yes, I failed at spelling “FAILURE”.
Have you ever failed? You probably have. Failure is a important part of living, because if we didn’t fail we wouldn’t learn.Some people think seeing others fail is funny and they say “Epic fail” to express it’s a particularly big failure. If there’s something we aren’t sure about we try and fail just to know what’s coming next time.
Here is a funny quotation:
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” -Thomas Alva Edison

I have tried and failed so because I tried I knew what would happen in some things I’ve done. I’ve died a lot in video games.

    Dear Tristan,

    I love that quote that you included by Edison! “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” I’ve never heard that before.

    Failure is a part of life. I look at it as a learning opportunity. Sometimes you succeed and sometimes you don’t, but you always learn something from trying.

    I loved your title, too. You’re funny!

    Hi Tristan,

    I’m a middleschool teacher and I’m doing research over Christmas break about blogs in the classroom. I found Mrs. Yollis’ blog and then I found yours. This post about failure made me smile because everyone fails all the time and it’s so important to remember failing is just another way of learning – and learning rocks! You’re quite wise to figure this out so soon.

    Thanks for showing me how students use blogs. Super helpful.

    Sincerely,
    Ms. Orion

    Hello Tristan!

    Failing is one thing I experience a lot…I agree with you: “failing is an important part of living,” since I tend to learn much from past mistakes. I also know the feeling of failing in video games… ; A ;

    Anyways~ This is a great post that really expresses the importance of failure.
