Angry Birds Seasons is really fun because a new type of level is created for each big holiday like Christmas, Halloween, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, and summer vacation. The new one for Halloween 2012 takes place in a cemetary and is called Ham O’ ween. Don’t you think that’s hilarious? Pigs + Halloween = Ham O’ween! It’s got a new bird which I call the “Pumpkin bird”. When you fling and tap it, it turns into a big orange ball which acts like the big burgundy bird and can crush lots of stuff. When it inflates, it has two little feathers coming out of its head which makes it look like a giant pumpkin. You get the pumpkin bird in the 4th level. If you can get it into a small area like a tunnel before it puffs up automatically, then BOOM!!! it explodes into a big, massive ball and causes a lot of damage.

In Ham O’ ween there are also black pumpkins that act like TNT boxes. These are mixed in with the pigs you are trying to crush. They blow up on impact , so it’s a good idea to aim red birds at them because these are the weakest birds and they don’t do a lot of damage on their own. You can know rocks on them as well to blow them up.

Some of the Halloween pigs are all of the regular pigs but some are hung by wire and have sheets on their heads to look like ghost pigs. Some have pumpkin tops for hats and others are hiding in pumpkins with carved eye holes for them to see through.

I think that it’s a very creative game that challenges you to use different angles to slingshot birds to hit pigs in the right places.
